Emi Hughes has been the Varsity volleyball coach at North Hall since 2008.  She is a graduate of North Hall and was on the first volleyball team the school ever had.  She played college volleyball at Brenau University.  After graduating with a degree in teaching, she coached at Lakeview Academy for two years before taking the head coaching job at North Hall.  Emi has been fortunate enough to coach many wonderful players and work with amazing coaches while at North Hall.  She has over 300 career wins with 4 Area Championships, 4 Hall County Championships, and 2 Final Four appearances.  Emi credits her program’s success to the hard work and dedication of the players and parents who are willing to put the time, energy, and effort into being the BEST they can be.  The North Hall community is one of the most supportive out there and she considers herself blessed to be a part.

Emi is married to her husband Brad and they have 3 children.  Theron, Jaxon, and Peyton are certainly their mom’s biggest fans.  Emi hopes to continue coaching and instilling a passion for volleyball into many young women for the years to come
